Baroka FC coach Kgoloko Thobejane says he knew that they were going to defeat Kaizer Chiefs.
Goals from Lewis Macha and Gift Motupa helped the Limpopo outfit come from behind to secure a 2-1 win over the AmaKhosi.
Thobejane says that they achieved their objectives and is pleased with the performance from his troops.
"I told you [in the pre-match interview ] that we came here for only three things: One, to maintain our unbeaten run against Kaizer Chiefs; two, to maintain our unbeaten run in the league; three, to maintain our position in the log," Thobejane told SuperSport TV.
"There was no way. It was so marvelous when we saw Chiefs scoring, we knew very well that today is our day. At Baroka we need to attack, we don't talk about defending. Attacking is our language every day, so what matters most is finishing. Credit to my boys."
On making a double substitution in the second half with Motupa scoring the second goal from the bench, he said:
"Those changes, I was saying 16 minutes [left] why can't we change guys? They said let's cool down. It was clear that we were on top of Kaizer Chiefs. It's just that some of our boys were not getting things right.
"I told them what's important in football, we can talk and talk but what's important is time. Good or bad you must time everything. If you lose that you're late, it's finished."
