Harry Kane is looking forward to taking on Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League

Posted: 30 September 2017 Time: 09:28

Tottenham striker Harry Kane admits he is relishing the chance of testing himself against the world’s best ahead of next month’s UEFA Champions League clash against Real Madrid.

Spurs will travel to the Galacticos on October 17 for the first meeting between the clubs since 2011, where Madrid cruised to a comprehensive 4-0 win.

However, the north London club have come a long way since then and are now considered one of Europe’s bigger teams, and Kane is hoping they can prove their worth in the backyard of the 12-time European Cup champions.

“It’s always great to play the best in the world”, Kane told the Daily Telegraph.

“They have one of the best defences with Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and players like that.

“I want to test myself against the best and they have been the best the last few years without a doubt.

“It is going to be exciting – I have never been to the Bernabeu.”
