Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic says his team plan to correct their mistakes against a Polokwane City outfit that is likewise eager to make a statement under the captaincy of Jabulani Maluleke.

Pirates will visit Rise and Shine at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday night looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season, a 1-0 loss to champions Bidvest Wits last week.

“We are looking forward to improving and correcting whatever was wrong," Sredojevic tells

"We have to keep up what was right and keep up the spirit from the start to the end and give everything the best."

Maluleke, however, says City are highly motivated for the encounter as they find themselves in the drop zone following four straight defeats under the tutelage of Bernard Molekwa.

“The mood is going well. The preparations for this game have been going well this week,” said the influential midfielder.

“The guys are looking forward to the game on Saturday. On motivation, the game doesn’t need motivation. It's motivation in itself to play against a team like Pirates and everyone is looking forward to the game.”

High-flying Bucs have 11 points from six matches - seven points more than their hosts.
