Baroka have called on the nation to vote for Oscarine Masuluke's goal against Orlando Pirates last term, which has been nominated for the prestigious Puskas Award.
Masuluke's sensational overhead kick is in the running for the prize, along with goals from the likes of Kevin-Prince Boateng, Olivier Giroud, Mario Mandzukic and Nemanja Matic.
FIFA will present the accolade on October 23.
Masuluke criminally missed out on the PSL Goal of the Season gong to Kaizer Chiefs' Siphiwe Tshabalala, with Bakgaga hopeful voter apathy does not rear its head again.
Baroka released a statement, which reads: 'Baroka FC is delighted by the FIFA panel of adjudicators for nominating Oscarine Masuluke’s goal for Puskas award. The award in itself is an indication that South Africa can compete against the best in the world.
'The club want to congratulate the player for the goal he scored against a big team like Orlando Pirates and upgrading the image the team, PSL and the country at large. This will again console the supporters who voted for the same goal in the PSL awards but unfortunately it went the other way.
'We therefore request the football fans and the entire country to vote the goal.'
