Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata hails Eden Hazard’s qualities after Champions League win in Madrid

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata admits playing with Eden Hazard makes things easy following his flying start to live in England.

The Spain international joined the Blues from Real Madrid in August and clocked up his seventh goal of the new campaign after firing in the equaliser against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday, with Hazard providing the assist.

Chelsea went on to win the tie with the last kick of the game through Michy Batshuayi, but Morata feels most of the praise should go to Hazard, who looked back to his best with a dominant display in Spain.

"It is easy playing with a player like Eden, one of the best players in the world, and I am very lucky to play with him," Morata told the Blues' official website.

"I am happy but we must continue to win the games, win all the three points that are possible and we are very happy because in this game we did."

He added: "The win was very important for us because this was a very important test for us, playing against Atletico.

"Atletico in the last few years have arrived at the Champions League final, so it was a very good test and we took the three points and now we can move on, relax and put this mentality into the Premier League. It was a massive victory."
