Cape Town City chairman John Comitis says the club would only consider selling influential winger Aubrey Ngoma at the end of the season if the price is right.
Comitis in May slammed Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane for allegedly making an offer to Ngoma to join the Brazilians next year.
Ngoma still has over two years left on his contract with City and there is no buyout clause, according to Comitis.
However, the former Ajax Cape Town boss has not ruled out cashing in on Ngoma.
"No, not true, there is no buyout clause," Comitis tells KickOff.com.
"But there is a minimum amount we are prepared to sell him for. If we receive an offer that is more than that amount then it might happen that we sit and talk."
Comitis made it clear that if such a deal would happen, it will not be in the January transfer window.
"At the moment we are not preparing to sell Aubrey. Maybe at the end of the season we might consider, but not now as we want him to finish this season with us."
Ngoma recently resumed training after undergoing knee surgery in July.
The 28-year-old scored seven goals and provided 16 assists for the Citizens in the 2016/17.
