Kaizer Chiefs have eased concerns surrounding star goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune, who sustained an injury in the goalless draw with Golden Arrows at FNB Stadium this past weekend.
The Bafana Bafana international, who has been in stellar form of late, was stretchered off the field during the clash with Arrows after a heavy collision with Zimbabwean hitman Knox Mutizwa left him with neck muscle spasm.
However, Khune is expected to be available for Saturday's contest with Baroka at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium (18h00).
"Khune fell heavily on his head," Dr Hashendra Ramjee told Amakhosi's website.
"He had a sore neck and a headache from the clash. We took him to hospital where he was examined. Accordingly, he was cleared of danger."
He added: "Itu will undergo a series of checks and rehabilitation. However, he should be ready for the next match."
