Ajax Cape Town moved top of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge standings, while SuperSport United thrashed Cape Town City in the weekend's action.

Ajax Cape Town 3 - 1 Bloemfontein Celtic

Ajax Cape Town claimed their second staright MultiChoice Diski Challenge win after defeating Bloemfontein Celtic 3-1 on Saturday.

Sergio Kammies grabbed the lead for the Urban Warriors inside the opening half-an-hour while Lunga Zikade brought parity for the visitors two minutes before halftime.

Kammies completed his brace in the hour-mark making it 2-1 and off-season signing Junaid Sait sealed the match in stoppage time.

SuperSport United 5 - 1 Cape Town City

SuperSport United handed Cape Town City a 5-1 hiding in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge on Saturday morning.

Darren Smith opened the scoring for Matsatsantsa in the 15th minute while Nelson Maluleke doubled the lead five minutes later.

Safwan Hendricks reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the hour-mark before his side imploded in the final 30 minutes.

Maluleke completed his brace in the 75th minute while Smith also grabbed his second goal of the match ten minutes later making it 4-1.

South Africa youth international Khanyisa Mayo completed the rout one minute before fulltime.

Platinum Stars 0 - 0 Chippa United

Platinum Stars drew their third successive match in the MultiChoice Diski Challenge in their 0-0 draw with Chippa United on Saturday.

The Chilli Boys missed the chance to gain six points in their opening three games as they have already registered a win from their previous encounter.

Polokwane City 1-1 AmaZulu

Bantu Chinti's 88th strike secured a point for Polowane City, as they drew 1-1 with AmaZulu on Sunday morning.
