Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is confident the Brazilians will fly the national flag high when they battle Wydad Casablanca for a place in the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
Sundowns will revive hostilities with the Moroccan outfit at Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium on Saturday sporting a 1-0 lead from the first leg.
Mosimane, who is hopeful star attackers Khama Billiat and Anthony Laffor can recover from knocks in time for the match, is mindful his men are carrying the hopes of a nation.
Downs aim to become the first South African side to win Africa's premier club competition in back-to-back years. Should they do that they will eclipse Orlando Pirates' single star and also book a return to the FIFA Club World Cup, taking place in Abu Dhabi in December.
"This is a national agenda. This is not a PSL match against Free State Stars," said Mosimane, who is well aware Bafana Bafana face an uphill task to qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
"You must be patriotic. You have to show the country that we might not do well with Bafana Bafana but we have no reason at Sundowns not to carry the national flag.
"We have done that and if we don't win the Cup of Nations, we must win the Champions League. If we don't go to the World Cup, we will go to the Club World Cup. We believe in going to Abu Dhabi this year, that's our World Cup," added the former Bafana mentor.
