Baroka continue dream start

Sipho Moeti and Gift Motupa were on target for Baroka in their 2-0 win at Bloemfontein Celtic on Wednesday night.

The opening 10 minutes of the encounter were quiet, with both teams still trying to find rhythm in their play at Dr Molemela Stadium.

Bakgaga settled the quickest of the two teams, with Lucky Nguzana coming close to opening the scoring in the 27th minute through a header inside the box.

Siwelele had a good spell going into the 37th minute, with Kgoloko Thobejane's charges playing on the counter-attack.

However, Sipho Moeti broke the deadlock for Bakgaga in the 43rd minute, making it 0-1.

Virgil Vries made a great save in the 57th minute to deny Alfred Ndengane with Bakgaga under siege.

Siwelele were throwing everything at the visitors after the 72nd minute, playing mostly in Bakgaga's half of the pitch.

Lucky Baloyi came close to bringing Veselin Jelusic's charges level in the 82nd minute, but his gliding header went narrowly wide following a corner.

Gift Motupa made it 2-0 to Baroka with five minutes to go to seal the result for the visitors.
