Sundowns' Madisha, Zwane and Zakri make CAF Champions League team of the week

Mamelodi Sundowns have three players in CAF's team of the week from the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

Young defender Motjeka Madisha, midfielder Themba Zwane and striker Yannick Zakri have earned recognition for their efforts in the 1-0 win over Morroccan outfit Wydad Casablanca this past Sunday.

Despite being substituted due to injury in the second half, Madisha had a good game for the African champions.

Zakri, who has previously made CAF's team of the week, got the goal for the Brazilians in the 71st minute after replacing Sibusiso Vilakazi at the start of the second period at Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Zwane created the goal for Zakri, with a clever flick from a Percy Tau corner kick.

The return duel is on Saturday night at Stade Mohamed V in Casablanca.

Downs attacker Tau was selected for CAF's team of the week in the final round of group matches, while teammates Bangalay Soumahoro, Denis Onyango and Anthony Laffor have also made the cut before, with the latter duo twice achieving the feat.
