Free State Stars winger Sinethemba Jantjie believes it’s just a matter of time before they start getting positive results as they are beginning to understand new coach Luc Eymael's tactics.
Things haven't been easy for the club's playing personnel this season, with an early coaching change following the sacking of Sammy Troughton. This is something that the 28-year-old Jantjie admits played a huge role in the club's bad start to the campaign.
Stars, who were beaten 1-0 by Baroka FC on Saturday, are yet to register a win this season. They are third from bottom on one point.
"We didn't start well but as you know we had a new coach, so the team is starting to gel and we are trying to turn things around to start winning games cause we don't want to see ourselves in the same situation as last season,” Jantjie says.
“I'm sure results will come because we've got a good team. It's just that we don't take our chances."
Jantjie says Eymael’s style of play is totally different to that of Troughton, who lasted for only two matches.
"They are both good coaches. But as you know the style of play is not the same. We are adapting very well to coach Luc. We will start winning games."
