News coming out of Platinum Stars is that they are set to announce Thabo Mokgatle as their new owner.

Dikwena's sale has been the subject of speculation for the past few months, with Royal Bafokeng Nation reportedly ready to sell the club to any person that will keep the club in Phokeng. Stars are expected to announce the new owner and management team at a press conference on Wednesday.

According to a source close to the club, Mokgatle is coming with a new vision aimed at making Dikwena amongst the top teams in the country.

"There is lot that has been happening behind the scenes. Thabo is an ambitious businessman and has great plans for the club," said the source.

"The club is set to announce a lot of changes during the press conference next week."

KickOff.com tried to get hold of Mokgatle but he did not answer calls.
