SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler says he has done extensive research on tonight's CAF Confederation Cup opponents Zesco United.
SuperSport will host the Zambians in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at Lucas Moripe Stadium, with kick-off set for 19h00.
"I have done a lot of study on Zesco," says Tinkler, who guided former club Orlando Pirates to the final of the competition in November 2015 where they came up short against Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel.
"We are at that stage of the competition in the quarter-finals where any team we are gonna play now is gonna be high quality and that’s what they are."
Tinkler has identified Zesco's dangermen, which include Kenyan striker and ex-Bidvest Wits trialist Jesse Were.
"Quite a few of their players are decent, both fullbacks are playing for the Zambian national team. They have strength upfront, the boy Were is strong physically with a lot of pace. They have good wingers and also the number nine has got power and speed. They are a very good team but are they beatable? Yeah, I think they are beatable."
Tinkler will bank on the experience and grit of defender Morgan Gould and midfielder Reneilwe Letsholonyane amongst others having rested the pair for the 2-0 league win over struggling Platinum Stars on Tuesday.
