Brazilian club Figueirense have confirmed the signing of South African forward Tyroane Sandows.

Sandows joins the second division side after the expiry of his contract with Gremio, where he spent three years.

The 22-year-old Westbury-born attacker started his career at Sao Paulo back in 2006, before moving to the 'Immortal Tricolor' in 2014.

He made his professional debut in September last year, coming on as a substitute for Gremio against Chapecoense.

Sandows featured for Amajita at the Under-20 AFCON finals in 2015, where he scored a hat-trick in their group clash, and was also part of Owen da Gama's squad for the Rio Olympic Games last year.
