Roger de Sa calls for Platinum Stars support ahead of SuperSport United clash

Posted: 12 September 2017 Time: 15:01

New Platinum Stars coach Roger de Sa has appealed to the club's fans to keep showing support as he looks to revive the team's fortunes.

Stars on Friday confirmed the appointment of De Sa following the sacking of Englishman Peter Butler barely two games into the season.

The ex-Orlando Pirates and Bidvest Wits mentor, who had been without a job after quitting Maritzburg United in March, will begin his Dikwena reign tonight against SuperSport United at Lucas Moripe Stadium (19h30).

"Hopefully we will turn things over and play some attractive football and get some results. Keep on supporting us and we promise we will give you 100 percent," said De Sa in a short video clip uploaded by the club on Twitter.

De Sa could hand a debut to new signing Raymond Monama as the visitors seek their first points of the season following a 2-0 home loss to Maritzburg and 3-1 reverse at Cape Town City.
