Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Percy Tau says he feels a lot more 'fresh' after helping the Brazilians defeat Free State Stars.
Tau was a substitute in both of Bafana Bafana's defeats to Cape Verde last week, but he came off the bench in the first half and netted a brace against Ea Lla Koto on Monday evening.
The victory has moved Pitso Mosimane's charges up to third spot in the Absa Premiership standings, and Tau believes his recent lack of minutes was the reason behind his performance.
"I haven't played a lot so I feel fresh, maybe that's why I scored those two goals," Tau told SuperSport TV.
Tau also looked ahead to the weekend's CAF Champions League encounter against Wydad Casablanca at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
"This gives us good work going into the next game.
"It's a game that we need to win, even if we get a draw, we just need to do well on Sunday."
