Cheslyn Jampies's agent Paul Mujuni says his client will train with Bidvest Wits' reserve team as they evaluate the defender's options.

The former Jomo Cosmos left-back was recently training with Luc Eymael's Free State Stars and could still join Ea Lla Koto, according to Mujuni.

"News coming in is that they [Stars] want to sign him as a centre-back." Mujuni tells

"Baroka, Mbombela United, Super Eagles are also interested but we will wait for the final say from Free State Stars. I'm the one who requested to the coach of Wits' reserve team [Ashley Makhanya] for the boy to keep fit while they make their decision."

Stars on Friday confirmed the double signing of ex-Orlando Pirates left-back Patrick Phungwayo and former Kaizer Chiefs striker Edward Manqele.
