South African winger Phakamani Mahlambi completed his first training session with his new club Al Ahly on Friday morning.

The 19-year-old finalised his move to the Egyptian superclub just hours before their deadline for foreign transfers on Thursday evening.

Mahlambi was welcomed at the club's training base Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium on Friday morning, where he met his new teammates for the first time.

The former Bidvest Wits attacker was all smiles in the session, despite doing plenty of running and jumping over hurdles.

KickOff.com can confirm that Mahlambi will don jersey number 32 for the upcoming Egyptian Premier League season, which kicks off this weekend.
