Kaizer Chiefs' Sibongiseni Hlengwa and Tebogo Galane target MultiChoice Diski Challenge gold

Kaizer Chiefs' reserve team strikers Sibongiseni Hlengwa and Tebogo Galane are determined to help their side claim MultiChoice Diski Challenge honours this season.
Amakhosi will open their MDC campaign against Golden Arrows at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on September 10 (12h00 kick-off).
Arthur Zwane's charges finished fourth in the third edition of the event in 2016/17 with 28 points from 15 games - six points shy of champions Mamelodi Sundowns.
Hlengwa and Galane will be mindful a strong showing in the competition will gain the attention of first team coach Steve Komphela, who recently promoted Bruce Bvuma, Khotso Malope, Wiseman Meyiwa and Nkosingiphile Ngcobo from the development ranks.
“We will fight to win the league,” Hlengwa told his club's website.
“We are ready for the challenge and will conquer together as a team,” he added.
The Edenvale-born 17-year-old joined Chiefs in 2014 and previously featured in the SAB League, as well as the Future Champions showpiece and Engen Tournament.
Galane is likewise gunning for top spot. The 22-year-old, who hails from Hammanskraal, is eager to build on the 16 goals he bagged in 14 games in the SAB League last term.
“We will fight for the top position and, on a personal note, I want to score as many goals as I can,” he said.
