Free State Stars have completed the signing of former Kaizer Chiefs striker Edward Manqele.

Manqele, 30, has penned a two-year contract with Stars, according to his agent Mike Ngobeni.

"Manqele has signed a two-year deal plus one-year option," Ngobeni tells KickOff.com.

"He is happy with the deal and is looking forward to giving his best for the club."

Manqele has been training in Bethlehem since July, having been released by Amakhosi in April.

The ex-Mamelodi Sundowns forward shone in his first spell with Ea Lla Koto in 2011/12, netting 11 goals in 29 appearances.
