Raymond Monama agrees terms with Platinum Stars

Former Royal Eagles midfielder Raymond Monama is set to find a new home at Platinum Stars after agreeing terms with the Premiership club.

Monama impressed Stars coach Peter Butler on a trial and has been offered a three-year deal in Rustenburg. He is expected to put pen to paper shortly.

The ex-Mamelodi Sundowns man is a free agent after leaving Eagles at the end of last season.

"The deal is as good as done," says a source.

"Only thing left is to put pen on paper otherwise the deal is done."

Dikwena have also been boosted by the availability of new signing Lehlogonolo Masalesa.

Masalesa missed the opening two matches of the campaign, but is in line to return against SuperSport United at Lucas Moripe Stadium on September 12.
