Bafana Bafana coach Stuart Baxter will include experienced defender Morgan Gould in his starting line-up for the 2018 World Cup qualifier against Cape Verde at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Tuesday.

Gould, who has been in good form for SuperSport United, will play alongside Bafana skipper Thulani Hlatshwayo after Kaizer Chiefs defender Mulomowandau Mathoho was sent off in Bafana’s 2-1 defeat to the Blue Sharks in Praia on Friday.

During a training session at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Monday afternoon, Baxter gave an idea of who he is likely to have in his starting line-up.

Baxter could make more changes at the back. Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Wayne Sandilands is likely to feature ahead of SuperSport’s Ronwen Williams, while Sifiso Hlanti looks set to replace Tebogo Langerman of Mamelodi Sundowns at left-back.

Keagan Dolly, Bongani Zungu, Dean Furman and Themba Zwane look set to continue in the midfield.

Bradley Grobler will partner upfront with the scorer of Bafana's only goal in Praia on Friday, Tokelo Rantie.

Bafana line-up against Cape Verde on Friday: Williams, Mphahlele, Mathoho, Hlatshwayo, Langerman, Furman, Zungu, Dolly, Zwane, Manyama, Rantie.

Possible starting line-up for Tuesday: Sandilands, Mphahlele, Hlatshwayo, Gould, Hlanti, Furman, Zungu, Zwane, Dolly, Rantie, Grobler.
