Cape Town City have rejected a second bid from Mamelodi Sundowns for star winger Aubrey Ngoma, who is set to remain in the Mother City.

The Brazilians had been keen on securing the services of City’s top scorer and 2016/17 PSL Football of the Season Lebogang Manyama, but the Citizens opted to sell to Turkish outfit Konyaspor FC.

Sundowns then turned their attentions to Ngoma, who formed a deadly partnership with Manyama last season as City won the Telkom Knockout before finishing third in their debut Absa Premiership campaign.

However, the Brazilians were once again unable to convince City boss John Comitis to sell, with Ngoma set to remain in Cape Town.
