Paris Saint-Germain confirm the signing of Kylian Mbappe on loan from Monaco

Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the signing of Kylian Mbappe on loan from Ligue 1 rivals Monaco.
The France international had been linked with a host of Europe’s biggest clubs over the last two months, including Real Madrid and Manchester City.
However, PSG have since swooped in for the 18-year-old on an initial loan deal, with the option to purchase the £160m-rated forward.
PSG confirmed the news on their official Twitter account:
Translated, the tweet reads: ‘Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Kylian Mbappe!’
Speaking to his new club's official website, Mbappe said: "It is with great joy and pride that I join the Paris Saint-Germain. For any young person from the Paris region, it is often a dream to wear the red and blue jersey and to taste the unique atmosphere of the Parc des Princes.
"I was seduced by the project of the club, it is one of the most ambitious in Europe. Along with my new teammates, I intend to continue my progression today while helping the team to achieve the very big objectives it has set itself."
