Polokwane land ex-Bucs midfielder

Posted: 31 August 2017 Time: 16:01 can confirm that Polokwane City have completed the signing of former Orlando Pirates midfielder Donald Mokondelela.

The 25-year-old has penned a three-year contract following a trial with Rise and Shine, who have also recruited youngsters Sithembiso Hlophe and Reginald Mhlanga from African All Stars.

"It's a done deal. Donald is now our player," says City spokesman Vusi Mtimane.

"We also signed two boys Sithembiso Hlophe and Mhlanga from African All Stars."

Mokondelela was a free agent after leaving Pirates a fortnight ago.

He initially joined Bucs at the beginning of last season from Baroka but managed just two substitute outings before being loaned to Chippa United in January.

Mokondelela played a further seven times in all competitions for the Chilli Boys before his contract with Pirates was terminated two years before expiry.
