Cape Town City boss John Comitis unimpressed with Mamelodi Sundowns' offer for Lebogang Manyama

With a few hours before the transfer window closes at midnight, KickOff.com can confirm that Cape Town City have rejected an offer from Mamelodi Sundowns for Lebogang Manyama.

After a lot of speculation about Manyama's move to Chloorkop, Sundowns officially submitted an offer to City on Wednesday in a bid to sign the Johannesburg-born midfielder.

However, City have turned down the offer from the Brazilians for the player, who is currently on national duty with Bafana Bafana.

City boss John Comitis confirmed that Sundowns made an offer.

"It was only the first time I received an official offer from Sundowns yesterday," Comitis tells KickOff.com.

"It was not good enough and I rejected it.

"We are now considering a move for Lebo to overseas," he adds.
