PSL confirms transfer deadline

The Premier Soccer League has confirmed the deadline for the local transfer window.

The cut-off point is midnight on Thursday, having typically been 17h00 in past years.

A number of big-name players have been linked with moves this week, including SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie, Cape Town City talisman Lebogang Manyama and Mamelodi Sundowns hitman Leonardo Castro.

The League said: 'The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has confirmed that the South African top flight football domestic transfer window will close in just over 24 hours.

'The #PSLDeadlineDay will close on Thursday, 31 August 2017 at 00h00.'
