KickOff.com has learnt that Platinum Stars have stepped up their efforts to sign striker Bongi Ntuli from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Ntuli is currently back at Chloorkop after his loan spell with Dikwena expired at the end of last season.
The former Golden Arrows striker is amongst those that have uncertain futures at Sundowns - along with Cuthbert Malajila, Sibusiso Kumalo and Asavela Mbekile.
According to a source close to Ntuli, the player recently submitted a letter to Sundowns requesting clarity over his position at the club.
"Ntuli wants to play football. He has requested a meeting with Sundowns to clarify his future before the transfer window period expires on Thursday," said the source.
"Platinum Stars have not hiddden their intention to sign him. Everything now depends on Sundowns."
Ntuli's manager Mandla Mthembu declined to comment when asked about his client's future with the African champions.
