Former Royal Eagles midfielder Raymond Monama has resurfaced at Platinum Stars where he hopes to earn a contract with Dikwena.

Monama is currently a free agent after leaving Eagles at the end of last season, with the former Black Leopards midfielder earlier linked with a move to Bloemfontein Celtic.

Dikwena general manager Senzo Mazingisa has confirmed the presence of Monama at their training ground.

"Yes, it’s true, he [Monama] is training with us, that’s the only thing I can say,” Mazingisa tells

Meanwhile, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Mduduzi Nyanda is still training with Platinum Stars in the hope of penning terms with the club this season.

Dikwena have made a host of new signings since last month, including Lehohonolo Masalesa, Ennocent Mkhabela and Brian Mwila, to name a few.
