Cape Town City boss John Comitis working on European deal for striker Lebogang Manyama

Cape Town City boss John Comitis insists he will not sell Lebogang Manyama to a PSL rival, but admits a move to Europe looks likely for the striker.

Manyama’s exclusion from the Citizens’ team sheet for Sunday’s 1-0 MTN8 semi-final first-leg victory over Bidvest Wits hints that the Bafana Bafana star’s future lies outside of the Mother City.

Reports have suggested Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are ready to splash the cash on the 2016/17 PSL Football of the Season, but Comitis  maintains Manyama will not be sold to any rival clubs.

Speaking in an interview with KickOff.com, Comitis reiterated he would not sell Manyama to any club in South Africa, but that a move to Europe is more likely for the forward.

"I am working on something for Manyama in Europe. There is no local team in the midst,” Comitis tells this website.

"I am not going to sell Lebo to any local team but overseas,” he adds.
