SuperSport United have confirmed they have rejected a transfer request from striker Jeremy Brockie and insist he will not be sold this month.

The New Zealand forward is one of the hottest properties in the PSL and has been strongly linked with a move to Mamelodi Sundowns over the past month.

And while Brockie himself has asked to be allowed to leave, SuperSport have zero intention of allowing their star striker to depart the club this season.

The Tshwane club posted a statement on their official Facebook account, which reads:

'The club would like to officially confirm that Jeremy Brockie handed in a transfer request last week which the SuperSport United board has rejected.

'The Matsatsantsa striker will NOT be sold to any club at any price.'
