Former Chippa United striker Rhulani Manzini will join AmaZulu
Posted: 24 August 2017
AmaZulu have opened their cheque book again to acquire the services of another player to bolster their squad before the tranfer window closes on the last day of August.
Despite having the likes of Siyabonga Nomvethe, Mhlengi Cele and Mabhudi Khenyeza as options in attack, Usuthu have signed former Chippa United striker Rhulani Manzini.
The 29-year-old, who was troubled by injuries last season, scored nine goals in 16 appearances for the Chilli Boys last season.
"We are in the process of signing him. As a club we are also very excited and I think he will add the balance to the squad," AmaZulu general manager Lunga Sokhela tells KickOff.com.
Usuthu coach Cavin Johnson has been keen to sign another striker and previously revealed that he would like to be reunited with Mamelodi Sundowns striker Bongi Ntuli, but it seems that will not be the case with the arrival of Manzini.
