SuperSport United have confirmed the signing of Nigerian centre-back Azubuike Egwuekwe from Finnish side KuPS.

The 28-year-old has penned a three-year deal with Matsatsantsa, having previously linked up with KuPs from Warri Wolves FC in January 2016.

Egwuekwe, an experienced Super Eagles international, faces competition for game-time in Tshwane from the likes of Clayton Daniels, Tefu Mashamaite and Bafana Bafana returnee Morgan Gould.

United also recently added Prince Dube and Siyabonga Nhlapo to their roster, while Dove Wome and Thato Mokeke returned from loan spells in the off-season.
