Orlando Pirates coach Milutin Sredojevic palms off finding Tendai Ndoro replacement

Posted: 23 August 2017 Time: 11:07

Orlando Pirates coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has placed the responsibility of finding a replacement for Tendai Ndoro in the hands of management while he focuses on what happens on the field.

Ndoro, who was Pirates’ top scorer last season, is set to secure a move to Saudi club Al Faisaly and Pirates could look to bring in a player to replace the Zimbabwean marksman before the window closes, but Micho says it’s up to management.

Should they fail to sign a replacement, Ayanda Nkosi and Thabiso Kutumela are options for the former Uganda coach.

"This is something we will look at in the coming days. The transfer window is about to close. Myself I have put full focus on the field of play," Sredojevic said after Pirates’ 1-1 draw with Baroka FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday.

"Management is looking at all things to be sorted, so I would rather speak about the field of play. We shall see what will happen up to the end of the transfer window."
