Judas back at Citizens training

Cape Town City midfielder Teko Modise could make his long-awaited debut against Platinum Stars at Cape Town Stadium tomorrow, while fellow attacker Judas Moseamedi has started light training after a spell on the sidelines.
Modise, an off-season signing from Mamelodi Sundowns, was meant to make his bow in the 1-0 win over Polokwane City in the MTN8 on August 12, but a groin complaint saw him withdrawn from the starting XI to the benefit of Thabo Nodada.
The 35-year-old also missed the Citizens' 1-0 league victory at champions Bidvest Wits last Friday.
However, the former Orlando Pirates playmaker is seemingly ready for action again.
"Teko's been at full training the past three days already and looks about ready to be in the squad," says City spokesman Julian Bailey.
Moseamedi is making his way back from a knee injury sustained in pre-season, with initial reports suggesting a return next month.
"Judas has started with a bit of running," Bailey adds. "He hasn't done much preparation with the team as they have a match tomorrow so that's more to do with technical matters. He is getting a feel of the ball and we will be able to gauge [when he could return] by how he responds."
Head coach Benni McCarthy has no other fitness issues save for long-term casualty Aubrey Ngoma, who continues his rehabilitation from knee surgery in July.
