SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler says he has no issues with Mamelodi Sundowns counterpart Pitso Mosimane and labelled him a character and a winner.
Tinkler, when still in charge of Cape Town City in May, said Mosimane "talked too much" after the Sundowns coach voiced his interest in Citizens winger Aubrey Ngoma.
The incident was revisited in the press conference that followed Downs' 2-0 win over SuperSport at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Mosimane said: "I don’t want to talk about players of other teams because in South Africa you can't speak. At Real Madrid they speak about [Gareth] Bale, there are no issues. Barcelona can speak about [Philippe] Coutinho who is contracted to Liverpool, there are no issues.
"Here back home people write letters. So they wrote me a letter and I kept quiet, you know the story. Even Eric Tinkler said a few things that I talk too much and I kept quiet. I did not answer you know. I will with time... I am waiting."
However, Tinkler insists there are no hard feelings and he aims to avenge the Tshwane derby defeat when their clubs meet again.
"In terms of battles with Pitso… Pitso is a character which I think you all enjoy and so do we," said Tinkler.
"He is winner and I am a winner. Most of the coaches in the league are winners, no one likes losing. Today I am on the losing end. I will take it humbly and move on and wait for the next opportunity to meet again and hopefully beat him."
