Eric Tinkler explains what is needed to get the most out of SuperSport United striker Jeremy Brockie

SuperSport United coach Eric Tinkler has stressed Jeremy Brockie needs support if he is to continue plundering goals in South Africa.
Brockie has shone since arriving in the country from New Zealand in January 2015, netting 20 times in all competitions last term and reiterating his value with a fine winner in the club's MTN8 win over Kaizer Chiefs last weekend.
Tinkler appreciates the Mamelodi Sundowns target's contribution but insists it is not a one-man show at Matsatsantsa.
"I think that's his strength [playing as a number nine]," said Tinkler, who has ruled out selling Brockie to Sundowns.
"I don't think he was very successful when playing as a 10 during that period when he didn't get very many goals. Jeremy is the kind of player, given the right supply and in the right areas, has the ability to score.
"It's not only about Jeremy, it's about everybody providing in order for Jeremy to score. It's not only about Jeremy, if no one is providing he is not gonna be able to do it on his own. So it is about everyone understanding what their roles and responsibilities are and understanding we have a lot of quality in attack.
"We have Brockie, we have Bradley [Grobler], we got Kingston [Nkhatha], who scored seven goals for us last season. So that is an area that we could regard as one of our strengths and we need to obviously play to our strengths."
SuperSport will open their league campaign today against Tshwane rivals Downs at 15h00 at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
