AmaZulu newcomers Tebogo Moerane and Simphiwe Mtsweni are determined to add value at the Premiership returnees.

KickOff.com earlier revealed the pair's capture on two-and-a-half year deals.

Moerane, previously at champions Bidvest Wits, told Usuthu's website: “I’m happy I can get a chance to play again at AmaZulu. I was welcomed very well by the senior players and I feel at home.”

Ex-Kaizer Chiefs defender Mtsweni added: “I’m here to work and I’m happy because I feel at home. We’re going to do our best to make the supporters happy by taking AmaZulu to where they belong.”

Cavin Johnson's side will start the season against Mtsweni's former employers Free State Stars at King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday (15h00).
