Paul Pogba aims for English Premier League title

Posted: 16 August 2017 Time: 09:54

Manchester United’s most expensive player Paul Pogba is determined to bring English Premier League glory to Old Trafford in his second season back with the club.

The France international has claimed Europa League, League Cup and FA Community Shield honours since returning to the Red Devils last year from Juventus for a then world-record fee of £89-million.

However, he says winning the English topflight is what matters most.

“I came here to win the Premier League and to challenge myself as well. Winning the Premier League is what matters,” said Pogba, who scored in the club's win over West Ham in their first league game of the season.

“My dream was to play for this club and when I finished [in 2012], I always felt like I had missed something at Manchester United because I wasn’t a first XI player.

“Now I’m back and happy to be back.”

United are currently top of the table and are set to face Swansea City on Saturday at the Liberty Stadium.
