Black Leopards midfielder Siphelele Ntshangase has turned down the opportunity to sign for Bidvest Wits in favour of a possible move to Kaizer Chiefs.
Ntshangase, whose contract with Leopards is set to expire in June next year, has made no secret of his childhood dream of wearing the gold and black colours of Amakhosi.
According to a source close to the KwaZulu-Natal-born midfielder, Wits made an offer to Lidoda Duvha last week but could not manage to locate the Bafana Bafana international to discuss personal terms.
"Wits made an offer to Black Leopards on Women's Day [August 9] but the player was nowhere to be found to discuss personal terms,” the source tells KickOff.com.
"His dream is to play for Kaizer Chiefs.”
Ntshangase’s future will be known in the next two weeks, with the current transfer window slamming shut at the end of the month, although he will be free to sign a pre-deal from January onwards.
