Mthatha Bucks announce a raft of new signings

National First Division outfit Mthatha Bucks have announced the signing of 17 players as they look to improve on last season's eighth-place finish.

As previously reported by, Bucks recently captured the signatures of former PSL trio Pentjie Zulu, Bongani Kama and Shane April.

Amongst Bucks' other recruits are former Jomo Cosmos utility defender Shane Thompson and Ivorian centre-back Steve Anoma, who has previously had a spell in South Africa with FC Cape Town.

Amathol’amnyama have also managed to snare the very promising Mpho Khumalo from Kaizer Chiefs' MultiChoice Diski Challenge team.

Ntandokayise Ngubane spent last season with Royal Eagles on loan from Mamelodi Sundowns and now joins up with the Eastern Cape-based franchise.
