Newly appointed AmaZulu coach Cavin Johnson says he'll rely heavily on the contributions of his two most senior players - Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhudi Khenyeza.
'Bhele', who turns 40 in December, netted 17 goals in 27 games last season, leaving him three shy of of NFD Golden Boot winner Sedywn George's tally.
The veteran duo are currently the only active players to have scored over 100 goals in the PSL.
Khenyeza, who remains Golden Arrows' all time top goal scorer, is sitting on 106 goals and will be looking to increase his haul this season.
Bhele, who played for both Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates, is the PSL's all time top goal scorer with 119 goals to his name.
"I think Mabhudi Khenyeza is a very intelligent player and so is Nomvethe," said Johnson.
"At 39, if Nomvethe can score the same 17 goals he scored last season, then he [will be] top goal scorer in the PSL. If he can score 17 this season in the PSL then he's top goal scorer.
"What is the top goal scorer in the PSL last season, 13 goals?
"If Nomvethe is doing what he does normally, which is to score goals, then he'll be on the pitch all the time. If he scores goals he'll be on the pitch. He has to. I know Nomvethe and Nomvethe can score goals. He's like a small Collins Mbesuma."
Johnson's side will open the Absa Premiership 2017/18 season at home on Saturday against Free State Stars at Umlazi's King Zwelithini Stadium.
