KickOff.com have been informed that former Amajita star Siphelele Luthuli has agreed terms with National First Division side Highlands Park.

The 22-year-old spent the 2016/17 season with second tier outfit University of Pretoria.

Luthuli made six league appearances for AmaTuks last season before being deemed surplus to requirements.

Having spent some time being assessed by the Highlands technical team the midfielder has landed himself a one-year deal with the club.

"It is official, he has signed a one-year deal with the Lions of the North," Luthuli's manager Godfrey Mushanganyisi tells KickOff.com.

'Sphe', as he's affectionately know, bossed the midfield for Highlands in a recent pre-season friendly against former club AmaTuks.

"The player promises to add value in the quest for Highlands Park's qualification into the Premier Soccer League," Mushanganyisi adds.
