Kaizer Chiefs forward Michelle Katsvairo is set for a loan move to money rich Tanzanian club Singida United after turning down Botswana giants Township Rollers.
Katsvairo has already been made available by Chiefs as he is not in the club’s plans for this season and Singida have indicated they are keen to employ his services for the 2017/18 season.
Singida have confirmed they will be bringing the Zimbabwean on board and will honour the contractual obligations that the player already has with AmaKhosi.
Katsvairo remains under contract at Chiefs but hasn’t enjoyed as much game time as he would have wanted with the last time he played having been back in December 2016.
Top earners in Tanzania are now raking in US$8000 (approximately R107,000) every month, with signing-on fees paid up front.
Mamelodi Sundowns and SuperSport United reject Simbarashe Sithole [now known as Simba Nhivi], who also plays his football at Singida along with fellow Zimbabweans Elisha Muroiwa and Tafadzwa Kutinyu.
Former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Method Mwanjali also plays in Tanzania for Simba SC and is amongst the players in the top bracket of earners.
