Despite having very little time to prepare for their maiden National First Division campaign, Tshakuma Tsha Madzhivhandila FC coach Sello Chokoe insists his side will be ready.
The Tshakuma village side, widely known as TTM, recently bought the status of Cape Town outfit Milano United.
With most Milano players refusing to relocate to Venda, the club have had to make do with what they have, but Chokoe says he has already overcome that obstacle by bringing in a few experienced players.
"So far so good," the former Baroka FC mentor tells KickOff.com. "For the three weeks I have been with the team I managed to bring in a few experienced players.
"But I will only be able to give out their names on Friday once we are done with all the paperwork. The plan is to register 25 players by the end of this week. Yes, we would have loved to have more time [to prepare] but we will be ready."
Last season saw fellow Limpopo side Magesi FC relegated in their first season in the second tier but Chokoe is confident that his side will not suffer the same fate.
"What happened to Magesi is a pity, but we are not in this league to fight for survival but rather to push for promotion," he states.
