Ajax Cape Town coach Stanley Menzo has confirmed to KickOff.com that Rivaldo Coetzee has returned to training with the club’s senior team.

Coetzee last week returned to Ikamva after having spent two weeks AWOL and was instructed to train with the club's MultiChoice Diski Challenge squad.

According to a source, Ajax are still holding out for an overseas offer for Coetzee, while Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates are amongst the front runners for his signature on the local scene.

“I can confirm that Rivaldo is back training with the [team] again,” Menzo tells KickOff.com.

“He’s one of the compact players in my squad. With regards to his future, I don’t know. You’ll have to speak to the chairman regarding this issue.”

Coetzee’s team-mate and club captain Travis Graham also trained with the MDC team last week after making his intentions to leave the club known.
