Stars sign Gamildien, Jenniker

Posted: 1 August 2017 Time: 15:17 can confirm that Cape Town All Stars have secured the services of former Ajax Cape Town duo Ruzaigh Gamildien and Aidan Jenniker on a permanent basis.

The pair impressed on trials with Igugu Lekapa and were subsequently rewarded with National First Division contracts.

Stars, who have also recently roped in ex-Milano United striker Danian Wareley, are currently in Johannesburg having lined up pre-season friendlies with Bidvest Wits, University of Pretoria and Highlands Park.

Head coach David Kannemeyer feels the team is on the right track and foresees a few more additions in the near future.

“I don’t just like to have depth, it must be quality,” Kannemeyer tells this website. “I’m eyeing some wingers and perhaps a goalkeeper.

“The idea is when you replace a player it should not affect the balance of the team neither the quality on the pitch.

“But this all depends what’s available, you know.  We still have to assess a few things as well.”
