Motale feels Bucs must tighten their defence as the Sea Robbers seek to bounce back from a disappointing 11th-placed finish in the league last term.

“Maybe I’m talking because I was the best defender,” Motale tells

“Baba [my brother] in football you shut the back door first before you can think of scoring… shut the back! You understand?

“The more they don’t score, you will score, that’s football, that’s how football is. If the back door is well balanced… I’m telling you… midfielders and strikers will feel jealous and they will want to double their work,” concludes the former defender and 1995 Champions League winner.
