SuperSport United confirm the departures of Michael Morton, Boalefa Pule and Luvolwethu Mpeta

SuperSport United have confirmed the departure of three players with Michael Morton and Boalefa Pule moving to AmaZulu and Luvolwethu Mpeta switching to Platinum Stars.

KickOff.com yesterday confirmed AmaZulu's interest in former Maritzburg United midfielder Morton and the deal has been completed.

Morton, who had one year left on his SuperSport contract, completes a permanent move to Usuthu whilst Pule is on a season-long loan at the Durban outfit.

Mpeta spent last season on loan at Dikwena, making 11 starts, and as revealed by KickOff.com has made his switch permanent.

Matsatsantsa confirmed in a statement the release of the trio - citing a lack of game time for Pule as the reason behind his loan move.

"Goalkeeper Pule [joins] Amazulu on a season long loan deal after losing out on game time behind Ronwen Williams and Reyaad Pieterse," said the statement.
